AMAZING WATER CAR
If you’re a recent viewer of ABC TV’s hit prime time show, “The Bachelor” you might have caught the WaterCar in action. Well, the WaterCar will also be in action at the Havasu Boat Show too with several of its models….and it’s awesome….45 miles an hour on-the-water and over 80 miles an hour on land (street legal). After nearly a decade in development, the WaterCar is now in full production at its Fountain Valley, California factory. It recently made headlines in the Orange County Register newspaper after becoming the first amphibious vehicle to successfully make a non-stop open ocean crossing from Newport Beach to Avalon Harbor on Catalina Island, a distance of approximately 31 miles in a little over one hour. Check it out at the boat show!
